Second Shooting

Last weekend I had the opportunity to second shoot a wedding with Carol Mahl, Photography by Mahl.


I jumped at the chance to second shoot this wedding with Carol. Carol is a ball to work with and a chance to second shoot a wedding is amazing.

Second shooting gives you the freedom to relax and play with different angles through out the day.  I do not have to get the safe shot, I get to play!

Honestly the whole day was amazing, the bride and groom were super nice, the bridal party was huge but were amazing at taking care of all the details for the bride and groom.  Everyone looked beautiful (ok, guys you looked handsome).

Stephanie's First Communion

What a privilege is was to be a part of Stephanie's First Communion.  This is such an exciting moment for this little lady.

The service was held at St.Christine Parish, Youngstown, OH, and was simply beautiful.
There were over 50 children receiving First Communion on this day.  The excitement from the children and parents was amazing!

African Elephant Crossing - Cleveland, OH

As Nate and I were driving to the Cleveland Zoo last night, he turns to me and says, "Merry Christmas"!  I just laughed and said THANKS!!
The reason Nate said Merry Christmas is that last Christmas Nate adopted an elephant from the Cleveland Zoo and gave it to me as my Christmas gift.  This is honestly one of the coolest gifts ever!!!
I love going to zoos and the elephant exhibits are always my favorite. With the Cleveland Zoo opening the new African Elephant Crossing, Nate knew he had a winner with this gift idea.
Since, I am a Zoo Parent, I had the chance to go and see the new African Elephant Crossing before it opened to the public. Oh, it was amazing, the elephants are so beautiful and the new male elephant, Willy, is huge!! 
We had a full two hours to hang out with the elephants and to enjoy all aspects of the new exhibit..
