Jen & Nick

Jen and Nick are a super nice couple, I had the chance to hang out with them on a chilly fall morning a few months ago.  We went out to the Hayes Presidential Center to take their engagement portraits.
It was only 30 degrees out and they both wore short sleeves, crazy!  I had my winter coat and gloves on.  Although it was cold we had some beautiful sun light.
They were both troopers never complaining once about the cold air.

Jen & Nick,
You guys are super cute and I had so much fun hanging out with you.  I cannot wait til your wedding day in June, we are going to have a ball!
Wishing you the best of everything!

The Nottke Family

One chilly, rainy day last fall I had the opportunity to hang out with the Nottke family.

Oh, this family is wild and crazy!  I had so much fun with them, they love to laugh!

Rebecca has been a client and friend of mine for the last few years. This year her and her brother decided to give their mother the birthday gift of family portraits!  Amy loved the gift, it had been forever since they had their family portrait taken.  The day of the session Amy was so disappointed, because it was raining, but we figured out a way to stay dry and get the family portraits she wanted!

A few weeks after their session, Amy and Mike were at a wedding I was shooting, so I had to include a few pictures of them dancing together, because they were so cute!!

Amy, Mike & Family,

I had a ball hanging out with you guys on that rainy fall day.  I am so glad we were able to figure out a dry location where we could shoot.  So excited that you loved your birthday present!

Wishing you the best of everything!

This was pay back for all the times Justin put Rebecca in a head lock when they were growing up!

Their crazy personalities!
Wesley was tired of pictures, as you can see Uncle Justin was very sympathetic to Wesley!

So adorable!
Can you tell Mike adores Amy? Look at how he smiles at her!

New office & viewing room!

Last fall, I decided it was time to revamp my office and create a viewing room for my clients.

I am so pleased with the results!

A huge thank you to my friend Rose, for helping me design and create this beautiful space!

Wisdom Day

I have survived!  Last Thursday I went in for Wisdom Day (aka - impacted wisdom teeth extraction day).
A friend of mine called it Wisdom Day, because she thought it sounded way more fun than what it really was!  Sherry is very silly!

Anyway, today is my first day up and about, I am still sore and moving slow, but definitely feeling better than a few days ago!

My biggest concern was how much pain I would be in after the surgery, little did I know this would be the least of my worries!  I became very sick from the anesthesia that the doctor gave me and I am still having a lot of nausea issues. The antibiotic is also making me very ill, I do not like this one bit, but I have 4 more days to go, so I will be taking it easy and pushing through.

I am so glad to be on the road to recovery!

A huge thank you to Nate for taking exceptional care of me!  He was fabulous!!  Neither one of us were ready for me to get so sick, but he took it in stride and figured out a game plan, to get me feeling better ASAP.  He did force me to drink a lot of Alka Seltzer, and although this alway seemed to make me feel better, I was not the most pleasant patient, that stuff is very gross, and when your belly is sick, it is even worse!!!

Wishing you the best of everything!
